I had to make a lot of service phone calls over recent weeks with at times, some rather unhelpful people. I decided I needed to put my waiting time to more healing use and began thinking about how Jesus saw the perfect man and that was what I needed to do and I did it! In every instance the attitude change was immediate. Those to whom I was speaking became more gentle, patient and more helpful and in several cases said at the end of the call that it was a real pleasure to talk with me.
I realised that we never know what problems people are facing in their own lives and how burdened they might be feeling about the world. We do have an opportunity to bring a little light to people we come into contact with during our day.
